The journey of a Pashtush Pashmina begins in Ladakh, where the Changthangi goats grow their thick, ultra-soft undercoat during the harsh Himalayan winters. In spring, this precious Cashmere is gently hand-combed from the goats—an ethical and sustainable process passed down through generations of Changpa herders.

Once harvested, the Cashmere is cleaned, sun-dried, and hand-spun by skilled Kashmiri women into the finest yarn, using traditional spinning wheels called Yinder. These yarns are then brought to local workshops (karkhanas), where master weavers use handlooms crafted from forest wood to weave the Pashmina into delicate, lightweight shawls—each piece an artwork in itself.
